Never again copy 12 words onto a scrap of paper.
Your crypto and your tokenized stocks in one app. One password to open it, a backup in three pieces so you never lose anything, and no one but you holds your funds.
A 12-word phrase is all your money written on a piece of paper.
Almost every crypto wallet asks you to copy it by hand. And the day you need it is often the day it's too late.
You lose it
A move, a fire, a sheet thrown away by mistake: your funds are gone forever. No one can recover them for you.
Someone finds it
A photo on your phone, a notebook in a drawer: anyone who reads it can empty your wallet in minutes.
You retype it
On a fake site or an infected computer, typing it is enough to hand it to thieves. It's the most common scam.
With OpenPGP Wallet, that phrase doesn't exist. You never see it, never write it down, never type it: there's nothing to lose and nothing to steal.
Three pieces. Any two are enough. One alone is useless.
When you create your wallet, the app splits its key into three pieces, like a treasure map torn in three. Any two pieces rebuild everything; a single piece reveals nothing, even to an expert.
- Keep them on USB drives: one at home, one with a friend, one at the office. Lose one, no harm done.
- Each piece is sealed in the OpenPGP format, the standard that has encrypted e-mail for over 30 years: the slightest damage is detected.
- Several wallets can share the same USB drives, each stored under its own name.
- The app checks your backup drives whenever you like, and reminds you once a year.

Plug in your hardware wallet: it signs, the app displays. The right move for large amounts.
Open to decentralized apps
With WalletConnect, use your funds on decentralized finance sites, approving each request in the app.

The app queries several decentralized swap services and offers you the best price. Your funds leave your wallet and come back to it: no platform holds them in between.
- THORChain, Maya, Jupiter, CoW Protocol, LI.FI, NEAR Intents, Chainflip and MoonPay Trade.
- Every transaction is checked before it is signed: the app makes sure what leaves and what comes back match the quote.
- App fees from 0 to 1% depending on the service, always shown before you confirm.
0.01 BTCProtections you can see, not just promises.
Each one answers a real scam or attack, already seen on other wallets. The most important one: before every send, it's Windows that shows you the recipient and the amount, not a page that could be tampered with.
Recipient: bc1q…w4x9
Amount: 0.004 BTC
Fee: ≈ $0.13
A real Windows dialog: even a hacked display can't fake it.
5 seconds to change your mind
After you confirm a send, a countdown lets you cancel it before anything is signed.
Trap addresses spotted
An address one character away from a contact's? The app warns you before sending ("address poisoning").
Wrong network flagged
Pasting an address from another network is flagged before sending, not after the loss, with the right network to pick.
Unlock at a glance
Windows Hello: unlock the app with your fingerprint or face, secured by your PC's security chip (TPM).
Automatic lock
The app locks after 10 minutes of inactivity, and repeated wrong passwords lengthen the wait before the next try.
Nothing on our side
No account, no server: your key never leaves your computer, and no one can lock you out.
What no software can guarantee
If malware already controls your computer while you use it, it can spy on what you do. That's true of every software wallet. Today, the answer is a Ledger or a Trezor: the key never leaves the device, and you check on its own screen. Tomorrow, it will be FROST: a signature shared between your computer and your phone, so an infected computer can no longer send anything on its own.
Privacy is normal.
Your money is your business. On most blockchains, anyone can read your balances and payments, forever. OpenPGP Wallet gives you the tools to change that.
0x9458…8cfA0x5C02…7A9F1,250.00 USDC●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●● ZECOnly you and your recipient can read it.
Shielded Zcash
Amount, sender and recipient encrypted on the blockchain (Orchard). Shield your transparent ZEC in one click.
Monero
Private by default: every payment blends in with others, and everything you receive lands on a one-time address.
No account
No e-mail, no phone number, no ID: nothing to hand over to use the app.
No trackers
No analytics, no telemetry: the app never sends us anything.
Your data stays with you
Balances, contacts, history and settings are stored on your computer, not on a server.
Only public addresses
To read your balances, the app sends your public addresses to the networks, nothing else: never your key or your password.
Separate profiles
A different address for each use (personal, savings, work): nothing links them on the blockchain as long as you don't mix the funds.
Encrypted messages
End-to-end OpenPGP, for one or several recipients: no one else can read them.
Good to know: the public nodes the app queries see your IP address, as with any wallet. A VPN on your computer hides it.
Tomorrow, the signature will be split too.
Today, the backup is split into three pieces. With FROST, every send will be signed jointly: your computer and your phone each produce their share of the signature, without ever bringing the key together. Malware on the computer will no longer be enough to move your funds.
- The whole key no longer exists anywhere, neither on the computer nor on the phone, not even while signing.
- Your phone shows the recipient and the amount, and you approve at a glance: a Ledger's trusted screen, with the device already in your pocket.
- A public protocol, standardized by the IETF (RFC 9591), with an open-source Rust implementation developed by the Zcash Foundation: we'll reuse it rather than reinvent cryptography.
- Planned first for shielded Zcash, Solana, NEAR, Stellar and Bitcoin (Taproot addresses).

Kept safe, in case of loss Not needed
FROST by the Zcash Foundation
Three steps, and that's it.
Create
Choose a password. The app generates your wallet: all your addresses are ready, on every network.
Back up
Plug in your USB drives (or pick folders): the app stores the three pieces there and checks they read back correctly.
Use
Receive, send, swap, stake. Your password approves every send, and Windows makes you confirm it.
New computer? Plug in two of your three drives: everything comes back, addresses included.
Working proof of concept. Not ready for real funds yet.
Real questions, clear answers.
What if I lose my computer?
Nothing is lost. Install the app on another computer and plug in two of your three backup drives: your wallet comes back exactly as it was, and the app shows you your addresses to check before you confirm.
What if someone steals a USB drive?
A single piece can't do anything: it takes two to rebuild the wallet. Keep the other two safe. As a precaution, you can also move your funds to a new wallet.
I forgot my password. Is it over?
No. Restore your wallet with two of your backup drives and choose a new password. Your funds are only lost if you lose both your password and two of your three backups.
Who holds my funds?
Only you. The app is "non-custodial": no account, no server, nothing kept on our side. No one can shut down your wallet (only some token issuers, such as those of USDC or tokenized stocks, can freeze their own tokens)… and no one can recover it for you, which is why your backups matter.
How much does it cost?
The app is free. It only earns a small fee on swaps and staking (0 to 1% depending on the service), always shown before you confirm. Network fees, paid to the blockchains, still apply, as with any wallet.
Are tokenized stocks real stocks?
They are tokens issued by Backed Assets (xStocks) that track the price of a stock or fund; according to their issuer, they are backed by the corresponding securities. They carry no voting rights. They are not for US persons and are not offered in the UK, Canada or Australia.
What is FROST, in a nutshell?
A way of signing jointly. Today, your key is rebuilt for a brief moment on the computer to sign a send. With FROST, the computer and the phone each sign their share and the whole key never exists: to steal your funds, someone would have to hack both devices at the same time.
Why only Windows?
To get one platform right before opening others. A mobile version is in preparation: it will also be the second device for FROST.
Can I use it now?
Not with real amounts yet: the software hasn't been audited by an independent expert. The public version will come after that audit and code signing. The source code is already public: anyone can review it on GitHub.
